Lifetime Programming Warranty
The programming we put into your module is guaranteed for the life of that module. The correct program and data go in — and they stay in. If programming we performed is ever found to be at fault, we make it right at no charge for the programming. Most mail-in shops warranty programming for six months. We stand behind ours for good.
WHAT THE LIFETIME WARRANTY COVERS
The program and data we write to your module are correct for your vehicle — VIN, calibration, and module data as applicable — and remain intact.
If that programming is ever defective through our work, we re-do it free.
WHAT IT DOESN'T COVER
An honest warranty is worth more than a vague one, so here's exactly where it stops:
Other modules. Covers the specific module we programmed — not additional or replacement modules. A new module is a new job.
Hardware on a module you supplied. If you send your own part and the hardware itself later fails — a bad chip, water damage, a cracked board — that's the part, not our programming.
Damage after it leaves us. Improper installation, vehicle electrical faults, jump-start or voltage surges, water, physical damage, or a later reprogram somewhere else.
A vehicle change. The programming is tied to the vehicle it was done for. Moving the module to a different vehicle is a new job.
HARDWARE WARRANTY
on modules we supply
If you have us supply the module, the hardware is covered too:
1 year, included on every module we supply — if the part fails from a hardware fault within a year, we replace it.
3-year coverage, optional — a one-time upgrade you can add at quote time, quoted upfront.
Customer-supplied modules carry no hardware warranty from us — the part is yours, so only the programming is covered, for life.
HOW A WARRANTY CLAIM WORKS
If you think the programming is at fault, contact us with your module's service number and VIN (and your ACL job reference if you have it). We check it against that job's verification record, and if the programming is the issue, we re-do it at no charge for the programming.
A FEW SERVICE TERMS
Payment is due before your module ships back — we hold it until paid.
Turnaround is quoted per job at the time of your quote.
You can supply the module, or we can supply it — your choice, decided when we quote.
